Picnic/ Morel Mushroom Foraging

Last night my husband and I took a trip to a nature park near us. I bought a picnic basket last year that i have been dying to get some use with. So, I baked a quick crumble using frozen blueberries that were given to me from my mother in law.

The crumble wasnt my best work! I suspect I put too much flour in. It wasnt crumbley it was more of a mushy texture. It also got mixed up while in the picnic basket. It was still delicious and fresh.

The wine would’ve been a better experience if it was chilled. It still paired well with the blueberries. My husband and I also shotgunned some miller lites even though I’m not a huge beer fan.

We also walked around the trail at the park, half ass looking for morels. I started looking for them last year, I still havent been able to find one! The season is so short from April - May. I also dream about finding Ramps! But haven't been able to either.
