My Name is Paris Hitchcock, and I am from Iowa. Iowa is not the first place you would think is a culinary destination, but I am on a mission to make my LIFE a culinary destination. To surround myself with such interesting experiences whether that be in my kitchen, in a small-town cafe, or in the big cities of Iowa.

The Midwest is not just a place to flyover - It's also a wonderful, unique place full of recipes, flavors, and places to explore.

This is just one girl's exploration into Midwest food but also flavors from lots of areas of the US.

I am going on a food learning journey and want to share my thoughts about restaurants, recipes, food, techniques, and sustainability. I don't claim to know everything, but I know the only way to learn is to try things!
