Gnocchi with Vodka Sauce

This was such a project! I can say that before I attempted to make this dish, I didn't really have a concept of what gnocchi is made out of or what the process is. I enjoyed mashing the potatoes and refrying them. The only real problem I had with the dish was the gnocchi was in large pieces at the end of cooking, I'm used to smaller gnocchi pieces. I'd say next time I make this I am going to focus on the shape of the pieces and bring a better presentation to the dish.

The vodka sauce was delicious, and it was also the first time I've cooked with vodka! The sauce was creamy and tart.
